Beautiful Weather is Predicted for this years GTHC Open Hunt!

And I can not wait!

Bright and early on Saturday May 22, I will pack up my ACE 250, a somewhat healthy lunch, and enough water to choke a camel, and head on down to Onset Beach, Massachusetts.

I will be participating in the Gateway Treasure Hunters Club annual Open Hunt. The beach will be seeded with clad coins, silver coins, and prize tokens. And each hunt will have a prize of a brand new metal detector. So it should be a blast!

In April, I participated in my first open hunt. Organized by the Massachusetts Treasure Hunters Association. Came home with a bunch of clad and a few nice silver coins. No prize tokens tho, however I predict that will change on Saturday's hunt.
